The Macallan Folio 7 is the seventh release in a coveted 24-part series. This series pays homage to The Macallan's iconic advertising campaign. The campaign ran through the early 1990s and played a pivotal role in establishing The Macallan as a global whisky icon.

The Macallan Folio 7 celebrates one of the brand's iconic advertising campaigns from 1986, titled "The Boffins Baffled." This humorous campaign tells the story of a group of scientists who were left perplexed when asked to explain what made The Macallan so special.

Despite their best efforts, they couldn't pinpoint the magic behind the whisky's exceptional quality, which was patiently developed in sherry seasoned oak casks. In the end, the scientists insisted on taking extra whisky back to the lab—purely for "research" purposes, of course.

Only 2,000 bottles produced
the Folio 7 marks the Seventh release of a 24-part series.
Each bottle in the Folio series is beautifully presented in a distinctive, book-shaped tin.

The Macallan Folio 7 offers a golden honey colour. With a nose of dried fruits, baked apple, pear, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, chocolate, orange, and oak. On the palate, enjoy flavours of raisins, fig, milk chocolate, orange peel, vanilla, and baked fruits with light spices. The finish is long and creamy, with lingering notes of dried fruit and warm spices. All culminating to create a rich and memorable tasting experience.
