Auchentoshan 18 Year Old

Auchentoshan 18 Year Old - 70cl, 43% abv

Auchentoshan distillery was established in 1823. Production was slowed and even stopped several times throughout its history, including in 1941 when the warehouse was destroyed during a WW2 bomb raid. At one point, the whisky was even owned my a hospitality company who used it as the official single malt for their chain of hotels and restaurants. One of the only triple distilled whiskies made in Scotland, Auchentoshan is renowned for its incredibly light and delicate spirit.

Auchentoshan 18 is one of their softest and most delicate bottling’s to date. The triple distillation comes into its own here, with years of soft maturation creating layers of depth and quality of flavour, rounding out the dram and giving an almost refreshing drop. Matured exclusively in American oak casks.
