This limited-release 14‑year expression was distilled in 2009, aged in ex‑bourbon American oak, then given its final flourish in Pedro Ximénez Sherry quarter casks hand-selected by Master Distiller Robert Fleming in Spain. Only 4,380 numbered bottles were released, bottled at 46 % ABV, natural colour and non‑chill filtered to preserve purity.
Nose: Deep and indulgent, with chocolate fudge cake, maple syrup, cedarwood and rich dried fruits hitting first.
Palate: Think maple pecan pie, chocolate ganache, roast nuts and raisins layered over coffee grounds, tobacco leaf and warming baking spices.
Finish: A long, warming fade into tiramisu, dark chocolate and lingering Brazil nuts
Like smoking a roasted espresso bean wrapped in dark chocolate, and lightly dusted with dried raisin and pecan sugar. Creamy sweetness meets subtle tobacco spice and just enough sherry warmth. Ideal for those who want body with elegance, and a dram that kicks back slowly rather than punches hard.
