Tobermory 11 Year Old 2007 Sherry Butt Finish - 70cl, 62.4% abv

This limited edition Tobermory was distilled over on the Isle of Mull in November 2007, and was then filled into refill hogsheads for most of its maturation.

For its final 22 months, the single malt was transferred to sherry butts for a finishing period, before it was bottled in June 2019 at a burly 62.4% ABV.

With citrus and woody initial smell and a sweet fruity taste, Tobermory 2007 Sherry Cask Finish is delicious. You’ll detect raisins, citrus zest, some oak and hint of honeycomb on the nose, before leading to more ripe flavours with notes of plum, peach halves, spices all beautifully balanced with rich, sweet dates. The finish is slightly richer,  with dark chocolate and more raisins and citrus peel.
