Stewed cider apples and freshly-cut pear skins, vanilla cheesecake, balsa wood; wholemeal toast with melted butter providing the light oils that coat the palate. A lovely orangey tang goes with the barley sugar, as does sponge cake with icing sugar and raspberry jam.
