The Signatory Auchentoshan 2013 is a 13-year-old Lowland single malt released as part of Signatory Vintage’s Monuments of Scotland Collection, a series celebrating Scotch whisky alongside some of Scotland’s most recognisable historic landmarks.
Distilled at Auchentoshan in 2013 and bottled in 2026, the whisky was matured for over a decade before receiving a finish in first-fill Oloroso sherry butts. The sherry influence adds richness, nuttiness and spice to the whisky, while retaining a lighter underlying malt character.
The nose opens with roasted almonds and warm vanilla, accompanied by light brown sugar and candied citrus peel. On the palate, the profile becomes richer and more textured, with roasted nuts, baking spices and dark chocolate joined by orange zest and subtle cocoa.
The finish becomes lighter and pleasantly sweet, leaving behind soft malt and gentle festive spices.
Bottled at 50.8% ABV, the whisky is presented without chill filtration or artificial colouring.
The label for this Monuments of Scotland release features St Andrews Cathedral, paying tribute to one of Scotland’s most important historic sites.
