Makar is a juniper-led, handcrafted small batch Scottish gin of the highest quality.
Old Tom Gin is a traditional style that dates back to the 18th Century. Illicit producers would distill sweet style of gin in the basements of public houses, and then advertise the availability of the gin by hanging a sign of a black cat - Old Tom, outside.
This gin re-creates a sweeter style of gin which in recent times has enjoyed a renaissance.
Complementing the bold juniper of Makar Original Gin, Old Tom infuses orange peel, almonds and a small injection of honey into its distilling process
