Distilled in October 2008, this Glen Moray single malt matured for 14 years in a bourbon barrel. Bottled in April 2023 at 54.1% ABV with an outturn of only 220 bottles. The Golden Cask Glen Moray 14 Year Old offers a unique and limited opportunity to experience the rich, nuanced flavours of this expertly crafted whisky.
The nose offers orchard fruit, desiccated coconut, vanilla, and cinnamon. On the palate, treacle and red apples take the lead, supported by ginger, custard, and a hint of mango. The finish is drying with notes of baking spice and earthy vanilla.
