Glengoyne 10 Year Old Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky
The slowest distillation in Scotland and the complete absence of peat influence in water or barley makes Glengoyne an exceptionally soft and sweet dram. Straddling the boundary between Highland and Lowland.
Fresh green apples, toffee and a hint of nuttiness. This is the taste of distilling slower than anyone else in Scotland, of barley dried by air – never peat – and of hand-selected sherry casks crafted from European and American oak.
On the nose sweet, with toffee and popcorn aromas. Slightly nutty, with fresh green apples.
To taste, green apples, grass, soft oak and a hint of sweet liquorice. Add a drop of water and discover notes of linseed oil and almonds.
70CL 40% ABV
It has characteristics of both regions. Sweet vanilla, marmalade, a touch of coffee and oak.
Appearance wise - Golden yellow. Clear and bright.
