This expression of Glengoyne showcases contrast and harmony. Marrying together whiskies wholly matured in bouron and sherry casks in perfect balance creates a fascinationg interplay between the resinous, sweetly dark orchard fruit notes imparted by sherry maturation and the brighter vanilla flavours of bourbon wood.

The result is an interiguing and complex dram that's recognisably Glengoyne, but looked at from a different perspective.

NOSE: Fresh Hay, Malt Flour, Rosehip, Citrus and dried fruit
PALATE: Clean with a gentle sweetness, a hint of tropical fruit, candied lemon, cinnamon, vanilla and apple pie.
FINISH: Pleasant dry finish with gentle spice and lingering oak.
Unavailable for a long time, the 15 years old bottling of the Glengoyne is finally back. Made up of single malt matured in first-fill bourbon casks, first-fill sherry casks and refill casks. A superbly balanced whisky, it is gently sweet with notes of mellow spices, dried fruit, malt flour and a touch of citrus. Glengoyne at its best.
