Glenglassaugh 15yo

The Glenglassaugh 15 Year Old is a rich and luxurious addition to the coastal Highland distillery's core range, introduced in 2026. Matured with the influence of Pedro Ximénez sherry and Spanish wine casks, it brings together deep fruit and chocolate flavours with the distinctive coastal character associated with Glenglassaugh.

At 15 years old, this expression leans firmly towards the richer side of the distillery's style. The nose opens with indulgent layers of chocolate sauce and salted caramel, lifted by bright Spanish orange. Dark Manuka honey and rich date oil add further depth, creating a combination of sweetness, fruit and darker richness.

The palate continues in the same direction, with salted treacle and caramelised dates providing a thick, rounded foundation. Juicy orange and papaya bring a fresher fruit character, while chocolate and coffee develop underneath, adding richness and complexity.

Towards the finish, warming cinnamon and nutmeg emerge alongside gentle nuttiness and a subtle coastal quality, providing balance to the sweeter cask influence.

Bottled at 46% ABV, the Glenglassaugh 15 Year Old is a full-flavoured coastal single malt that combines mature sherry richness, Spanish wine cask influence and tropical fruit with chocolate, coffee and warming spice.
