Auchentoshan American Oak Whisky

Auchentoshan American Oak - 70cl, 40% abv

Auchentoshan distillery was established in 1823. Production was slowed and even stopped several times throughout its history, including in 1941 when the warehouse was destroyed during a WW2 bomb raid. At one point, the whisky was even owned my a hospitality company who used it as the official single malt for their chain of hotels and restaurants. One of the only triple distilled whiskies made in Scotland, Auchentoshan is renowned for its incredibly light and delicate spirit.

American oak from Auchentoshan is matured exclusively in first fill American oak casks. Due to its triple distillation the whisky is sumptuously light, delicate and floral. The perfect whisky for a first time dram, or just as a nightcap.
