Alma Das Donas Adega- Almalarga Godello 2021 D.O. Ribeira Sacra. Located in the Ribeira Sacra, Alma Das Donas farm their 3 hectares of vines in an area famed for its peace and tranquillity.
Here above the River Sil on the perilously steep slopes of Panton and Quiroga, the grapes must be hand harvested from the 50 year old Godello vines.
The soils are slate and granite and the wine is aged on its lees for four months.
The resulting wine is clean with an intense mineral profile, beautifully balanced by apple and pear fruit and a creamy texture.

Appearance: Straw-yellow colour, with golden flecks characteristic of its youth. Aspect is clean and brilliant.
Nose: Intense, fruity, mineral, with flowery undertones. Predominance of ripe fruit: apple, pear, peach.
Palate: Good attack – smooth, appetising, gentle. The wine is balanced and creamy, with great length. Well-rounded, pleasant finish. Will reach full maturity with bottle ageing.
