Unveiling the Court of Redonda: A Revelation in Whisky

Step into a World of Flavour and Elegance with Robert Graham 1874's New Whisky Collection

This December - Robert Graham 1874, the home of whisky sophistication, is thrilled to announce its latest creation: the Court of Redonda whisky collection. A collaboration with the artist Stephen Chambers and his artwork. Initially six distinctive expressions that redefine whisky excellence are about to conquer palates and hearts alike.

The Whisky Collection
Introducing the Court of Redonda collection, each expression individual and collectively a striking collection to feature on any whisky lover’s shelf.  Robert Graham are the custodians of the casks and therefore can't take credit for making the wonderful liquid we bottle, our craft, is in the choosing of great casks from great whisky makers and then determining the best time and age in which to release a specific cask or whisky. This will be exclusively available from Robert Graham 1874 stores in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Cambridge and their website.

How this came collaboration came about

The Court of Redonda was always intended to be a reverential celebration of ‘Everyman’. An elevated toast of those that fanfare frequently passes by. That is you, me, the doctor, the pharmacist, the florist, the butcher, the baker, and the candlestick maker….

Whisky, as those of us that explore this realm know, is that most nuanced, multi-faceted, complicated and sophisticatedly poetic of all the distilled juices. In this sense it is as diverse, complex and tender as ….… all of us.

This is a collaboration, a while in the making: Grown up art meets grown up whisky. Take time; enjoy.                           – Stephen Chambers RA

I was introduced to Stephen's art many years before taking over Robert Graham. I was struck with the vibrancy of his work so when I started thinking about creating a new range for our independent bottling, I immediately thought, wouldn't it be cool to combine the art of whisky with Stephen Chambers art work.

I am delighted that Stephen Chambers RA was so enthusiastic to work with us and have enjoyed working with him to bring this new range of our whiskies to life with Stephen's amazing art collection, The Court of Redonda. – Stephen Johnstone, Robert Graham 1874

We are delighted to announce that this collaboration has resulted in Stephen Chambers making prints of his artwork available for purchase - here
