Wood's Old Navy Rum

Wood's Navy Rum - 70cl, 57% vol.

Wood’s is a blend of three rum marques, each with its own unique history, and all distilled at the Diamond Distillery in Guyana.

• Made of greenheart, a local hardwood that imparts complex flavours
• Characterised by an unbelievably smooth, mellow taste

Guyana was a Dutch colony in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, with up to 380 sugar plantations, most with their own rum distillery.

The original strength of rums on board British Navy ships, which had to be ‘proved’ to its sailors before having water added.
