Tomatin's 36 year old Small Batch Release #11 has been named ‘Best in Show’ in the whisky category at the prestigious San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC) 2023, ranking it among the top whiskies globally!
‘Best in Show’ is the highest honour of the event — This is the second time Tomatin's 36 Year Old has been awarded the ‘Best in Show’ accolade after previously being recognised in 2017.
It is surprisingly sprightly for its age and proffers floral, fruity aromas of rosehip, mango and fruitcake on the nose, with notes of heather, honey and toasted chestnuts on the palate.

Matured in a combination of Bourbon Barrels and Oloroso Sherry Butts, Batch 11 of this 36 year old is a very special dram!
Nose:
Vibrant, fruity and floral, with aromas of tropical fruits layered with winter spices from the Oloroso Sherry butts.
Palate:
Rich yet sweet on the palate, the fruity tones develop into oaky flavours of raw heather honey and roasted chestnuts.
Finish:
The depth of this whisky is reflected in its remarkably long finish with waves of fruit fading to an enticing winter spice finish.
