Montecristo Edmundo is named after Edmund Dantes, the hero of the Alexandro Dumas novel “The Count of Montecristo”. The Edmundo was one of the first extra heavy gauge, parejo sizes produced in Cuba in the 21st century. Big and rewarding.

The brand owes its name to Alexandre Dumas’ timeless novel, 'The Count of Monte Cristo', a cherished read among Torcedores (cigar rollers) at the factory where Montecristo was established in 1935.
