The Living Souls Lochranza 9 Year Old is a bright and fruit-forward Island single malt, combining classic Arran sweetness with tropical fruit and a gentle touch of smoke.

Distilled at Lochranza Distillery on the Isle of Arran, this expression has been matured for nine years in first-fill Bourbon barrels. The cask influence complements the naturally fruity spirit, adding creamy vanilla and confectionery sweetness while allowing plenty of fresh fruit character to shine through.

The nose opens on an immediately inviting combination of butterscotch sweets, candied lemon and soft vanilla fudge. On the palate, things take a more tropical turn, with juicy pineapple sweets joined by chargrilled peaches and refreshing honeydew melon.

The finish remains relatively light but has surprising persistence, with the tropical sweetness gradually giving way to a gentle whisper of smoke and lingering fruit.

Bottled by Living Souls without chill filtration or added colouring, the Lochranza 9 Year Old is an approachable yet characterful single malt that showcases the brighter, sweeter side of Arran whisky.
