Produced in Santa Barbara California since 1981 by the two founders and friends, Gray Hartley and Frank Ostini, The Hitching Post was named after Frank Ostini's restaurant of the same name. the ''Highliner'' is the boat with the best fishermen in the fleet, named in honour of the great men of the Alaskan Salmon Fishery with whom Gray Hartley worked for 28 years.
The character of the Hitching Post wines is representative of the region and climate they hail from, emphasising rich deep fruit notes along with spice and earthiness.
