Glencadam 15 year old Madeira Cask Finish

Crafted by Glencadam’s Master Distiller from spirit distilled in 2008, this Highland single malt aged for 15 years in American oak ex‑bourbon casks before being given its final flourish in Madeira wine casks sourced from Portugal’s famed islands. 

It’s bottled at 46 % ABV, with natural colour and no chill‑filtration, preserving the pure, polished character of Glencadam’s understated spirit.  Released in early 2024 as a limited edition of just 5,826 individually numbered bottles. 

Nose: Inviting aromas of butterscotch and ginger biscuits, layered with caramelised pecans, dried pineapple, and warm baking spices 
Palate: Luxuriously coated, with peach cobbler, golden syrup, creme caramel, praline, toasted walnuts, and candied citrus peel
Finish: Lingering impressions of brandy butter, honey cake, salted caramel, fading to dark chocolate and delicate cinnamon warmth

This is a lush, polished Highland malt with a wine‑cask twist—sweet yet balanced, refined yet expressive. It earned the prestigious Master Award at the 2024 Scotch Whisky Masters, with judges praising its “baked stone fruit and grilled honeyed peaches”
