The Champagne Gosset Grande Reserve Brut NV is an elegant and characterful Champagne from Maison Gosset, recognised as the oldest wine house in Champagne with a history dating back to 1584.
Produced from a blend of 45% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay and 20% Meunier, the Grande Reserve brings together fruit sourced from vineyards across the Champagne region, including a selection of Grand Cru and Premier Cru sites.
Vinification takes place in stainless steel vats, with malolactic conversion deliberately avoided to retain freshness, natural fruit character and the distinctive Gosset house style. The Champagne is aged on its lees for a minimum of four years, followed by at least six months in the cellar after disgorgement to allow the wine to fully integrate.
Fresh aromas of lemon meringue and Mirabelle plum develop into richer honeyed and toasted notes. The palate is generous and voluminous, with citrus, hawthorn and delicate floral flavours supported by a refined structure. An elegant mineral character carries through to the finish, balancing the wine's richness with freshness and precision.
A beautifully composed non-vintage Champagne offering impressive depth while retaining the freshness and elegance for which Gosset is known.
