Les Argelières Viognier is a modern French white with unmistakable charm. Hailing from the sun-drenched vineyards of the Languedoc in southern France, this vibrant Viognier showcases everything that makes the grape so alluring, rich aromatics, mouth-filling fruit, and a silky finish.
Crafted by Marilyn Lasserre, one of the region’s top winemakers, this wine pays homage to the cool clay-limestone soils (les argelières) that nurture Viognier grapes to perfection. It’s a beautifully expressive wine, with bold notes of apricot, peach, and honeysuckle on the nose, followed by a lush, rounded palate laced with ginger and citrus.
It’s bold enough to stand up to creamy pastas or Asian-spiced dishes, but elegant enough for sipping solo. A bottle that punches well above its weight, this is everyday luxury, in liquid form.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Ripe apricot, white peach, acacia flower, and a hint of orange blossom.
Palate: Smooth and full-bodied with flavours of juicy nectarine, tangerine, and a whisper of ginger spice.
Finish: Rounded and fresh with lingering fruit and a dash of citrus zest.
An expressive and aromatic Viognier from the Languedoc, bursting with stone fruits, white flowers, and a touch of spice.
