Beautifully crafted briar pipe from Italian pipe maker Tommaso Spanu
Model Name - Briar-F2
Artisan Italian Pipes have been meticulously handcrafted in Sardinia since 1979, using only the finest Sardinian "Erica Scoparia" briar. This exceptional briar is grown, harvested, milled, and conditioned entirely by Tom Spanu, making him the only pipe-maker in the world who oversees the entire process.
With a production of only around 1,000 pipes annually, each creation is unique—no two pipes are ever the same. This rarity and distinctiveness make these pipes highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts.
Among the masterpieces crafted by the Sardinian master, Tommaso Spanu, is the Bent Dublin pipe. This shape was the time-honoured favourite of the company's founder, reflecting his superb craftsmanship. The Bent Dublin is finished with a black acrylic mouthpiece, seamlessly joined to the shank with an Italian tricolor band of green, white, and red, proudly showcasing its Italian heritage.
Each Tommaso Spanu pipe is a rare and extraordinary piece, embodying the rich tradition and artisanal excellence of Italian pipe-making.
