The company weathered many changes over the years, including several changes in ownership. Around 1840, it moved to larger premises on the prestigious St James Street, solidifying its place among London's elite tobacconists.

Robert Lewis has always been known for producing their own private blend tobaccos, crafted with precision and expertise. Today, four of these distinguished blends remain in production, continuing the legacy of quality and tradition that began over two centuries ago.
