Robert Lewis Orcilla Mixture 50g tin
Robert Lewis, a renowned name in the world of tobaccos, traces its origins back to 1787. The first shop was opened by Welshman Christopher Lewis in the bustling area of Covent Garden. In its early years, the shop faced numerous challenges, but the business was saved from closure when Christopher's cousin, Robert Lewis, joined him.
The company weathered many changes over the years, including several changes in ownership. Around 1840, it moved to larger premises on the prestigious St James Street, solidifying its place among London's elite tobacconists.
Robert Lewis has always been known for producing their own private blend tobaccos, crafted with precision and expertise. Today, four of these distinguished blends remain in production, continuing the legacy of quality and tradition that began over two centuries ago. Among these blends is the revered Tree Mixture, known for its rich, cool-burning smoke made from the finest sweet Virginias and Latakia, originally crafted for the exclusive enjoyment of Colonel Tree.
