The Peterson Dracula Rusticated 608 combines one of Peterson's traditional straight shapes with the bold Gothic styling that has made the Dracula series such a distinctive part of the Irish pipe maker's collection.
Originally introduced in 2012, the Dracula range was created to commemorate the centenary of the death of celebrated Irish author Abraham "Bram" Stoker, creator of Dracula. The series pairs classic Peterson shaping with a dramatic combination of dark briar, bright metalwork and unmistakable red and black acrylic.
The 608 is Peterson's smaller interpretation of the traditional straight Pot. Its broad, relatively shallow bowl follows the classic Anglo-French style, while a slender shank and stem give the pipe a leaner, more refined appearance than heavier Pot designs.
The briar is given a deep black rusticated and sandblasted-style finish, providing plenty of texture across the bowl and shank. A bright nickel band creates a sharp contrast before meeting the series' signature acrylic fishtail stem, where swirling black and blood-red tones provide the Dracula's defining splash of colour.
At 151mm long and weighing only 35g, the 608 is impressively lightweight for its proportions and requires no filter.
A distinctive Peterson that blends a genuinely traditional pipe shape with one of the company's most recognisable contemporary finishes.
