The Living Souls Glenrothes 17 Year Old is a mature Speyside single malt showcasing the rich influence of first-fill sherry cask maturation.

Distilled at Glenrothes Distillery in the heart of Speyside, the whisky has been aged for 17 years before being bottled from a selection of first-fill sherry hogsheads. These active casks bring plenty of richness to the spirit, building layers of dark fruit, chocolate, warming spice and nuttiness while retaining the character of the underlying malt.

The nose opens with dried figs and dark chocolate, accompanied by a generous helping of rich, warming spice. On the palate, black cherry provides a deeper fruit character, joined by nutmeg and roasted hazelnuts for a combination of sweetness, spice and nuttiness.

The finish is long and warming, with molasses and sherry-soaked oak lingering after the darker fruit and spice begin to fade.

Bottled without chill filtration or artificial colouring, this 17 Year Old offers a rich, sherry-led expression of Glenrothes, selected and presented as part of the Living Souls range.
