The Living Souls Balmenach 22 Year Old is a mature Speyside single malt with a wonderfully bright and aromatic character, combining fresh fruit with distinctive floral notes.

Distilled at Balmenach Distillery and matured for 22 years, this expression takes its inspiration from the rolling Riesling vineyards of Germany. Rather than the darker, richer profile often associated with long maturation, the whisky retains an appealing freshness, with white fruit, citrus and floral flavours running throughout.

The nose opens with crisp white grapes and Parma Violets, bringing together fresh fruit and gentle floral sweetness. An unusual hint of polished metal adds another dimension to the aroma.

On the palate, the fruit becomes brighter and juicier, with melon, lemon peel and stone fruits creating a fresh, lively profile despite the whisky's considerable age. The finish is long and floral, allowing those lighter aromatic notes to linger.

Bottled by Living Souls at 44.9% ABV, the Balmenach 22 Year Old is presented at natural colour and without chill filtration.
