La Collina dei Ciliegi Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG 2020 is a bold yet refined expression of Amarone, crafted in the elevated vineyards of Valpantena, the highest part of the Valpolicella region. Founded on a deep respect for the land, the estate traces its roots back to Armando Gianolli, who began cultivating the area in the mid twentieth century. Today, under the direction of his son Massimo, the winery has evolved into a forward thinking producer, combining tradition with a precise and modern approach to winemaking.

The 31 hectare vineyard sits at altitudes of up to 700 metres, surrounded by forest and shaped by a cooler climate that brings freshness and definition to the wines. Sustainably farmed and SQNPI certified, the estate places strong emphasis on ecological balance and terroir expression. Collaboration with renowned agronomists Claude and Lydia Bourguignon has further enhanced vineyard understanding, allowing for parcel specific precision that translates directly into the glass.

This Amarone shows impressive depth and concentration, while maintaining a sense of elegance. Rich notes of Morello cherry lead the profile, supported by layers of spice and subtle leathery character that add complexity. The palate is full bodied and enveloping, with well integrated tannins that provide structure without overwhelming the fruit.
