Originally produced in a limited run of just 60,000 cigars worldwide, divided into 6,000 numbered boxes, each cigar also carries the distinctive “Exclusivo Gran Bretaña” secondary band, marking its exclusivity to the UK market. As part of the House Reserve programme, every box has been professionally inspected by Habanos S.A. technicians, stamped “Revisado”, and certified before release, ensuring authenticity and quality. Each cigar is further dressed with an Aged & Rare footband, confirming its provenance and extended maturation.

Handmade in Cuba using long filler tobacco exclusively from the Vuelta Abajo region, the Selección Superba showcases the traditional craftsmanship of Juan López, one of Cuba’s lesser known but highly respected marcas dating back to the 1870s.

When first released, the blend was noted for its youthful richness. With time, however, it has transformed significantly. Ageing has brought greater balance, structure and refinement, softening the original intensity while enhancing depth and complexity.

The result is a medium to full bodied Cuban cigar that now reveals layered notes of roasted spice, cedar, dark chocolate and earthy sweetness. The smoke is smooth and composed, with each stage unfolding धीरे gradually into a long, elegant finish.
