Introducing Glaschu's Burnside 12-Year-Old Amarone Cask Whisky, a unique blend of two neighbouring Speyside giants. Distilled near Balvenie castle with a teaspoon-full of the Fiddich Valley's finest added in at the end, this exceptional spirit, distilled in April 2011, matured for over a decade in an ex-bourbon hogshead cask. It was then transferred to a first-fill Amarone wine barrel for the final 18 months.

Explicitly hailed as one of the kings of Italian wine, Amarone wine imparts a plush, fruit-forward style to this whisky. Achieved through the traditional appassimento method, firstly drying the grapes before fermenting, Amarone casks yield juicy and complex flavours. Similarly this includes pronounced cherry and dried-fruit notes. Additionally aged like the best Rioja, Amarone then adds smoky, spicy, and herbal nuances, resulting in a bold whisky.

Experience the distinctive character of Glaschu Burnside 12-Year-Old Amarone Cask Whisky, bottled at 50% ABV, with natural colour and without chill filtration. Available in a 700ml bottle, this whisky truly offers an exceptional tasting experience.
