Germains King Charles Mixture Loose Pipe Tobacco
Germains stands as one of the premier small-scale blenders, operating from the picturesque Channel Islands off the coast of the UK. With roots tracing back to 1820, this family-run business has remained steadfast in producing classic "British" style tobaccos on the charming island of Jersey. Despite the passage of centuries, the Germain factory has stayed true to its traditional methods, resisting the urge to modernise or expand.
The name of this tobacco originates from the early days when all tobaccos were pressed into cakes before cutting. Four types of Virginian tobaccos are blended with Cavendish and a specially prepared Black Tobacco.
The complete blend is then flavoured in accordance with a 70 year old formula to produce a honey sweet smoking tobacco with a unique aroma.
An elegant blend of high quality Virginian, zesty Oriental and a careful addition of Latakia leaves giving a smooth smoke, which is robust in strength and has no additional flavouring.
