Diplomaticos Cancilleres Single Cigar

The Diplomaticos Cancilleres marks an important new chapter for the Cuban brand, becoming the first permanent addition to the Diplomaticos portfolio in many years.

Established in the 1960s, Diplomaticos originally offered a broader selection of cigars closely associated with the classic sizes of Montecristo. Over the years the range was gradually reduced, with the Diplomaticos No. 2 eventually becoming its only regular-production vitola. While the brand has appeared through a number of Regional Edition releases, the arrival of Cancilleres represents a rare expansion of the permanent range.

The name Canciller, Spanish for Chancellor, refers to the highest diplomatic rank and reflects the refinement and distinction behind this new release.

Measuring 5⅛" with a 50 ring gauge, Cancilleres is totally handmade using long-filler tobacco, with all leaves sourced from Cuba's renowned Vuelta Abajo region.

Medium to full in flavour, the cigar begins with distinctive woody and floral notes, gradually developing richer flavours of leather and nuts as the smoke progresses. A subtle earthy character emerges towards the finish, completing a complex and evolving Cuban profile.

With an estimated smoking time of around 40 to 50 minutes, Diplomaticos Cancilleres offers an exciting new way to explore a historic Habanos brand.
