The Dalmore 17 yo

The Dalmore 17 Year Old is a richly layered Highland single malt showcasing the distillery’s long-standing relationship with some of the finest sherry casks from González Byass.

Matured for 17 years, the whisky is finished in an exclusive trilogy of rare sherry casks: Amoroso, Apostoles and Matusalem. This combination brings additional richness and depth to The Dalmore’s signature style, balancing ripe fruit and citrus with sweet oak, dark chocolate and warming spice.

The aroma opens with Seville orange and rich orchard fruits, accompanied by an elegant layer of wood spice. On the palate, poached pears and forest berries develop alongside sweet toffee and orange marmalade, creating a full and rounded character.

The finish becomes darker and richer, with dark chocolate orange and dried fruits complemented by lingering cinnamon and nutmeg.

Bottled at 42% ABV, The Dalmore 17 Year Old has been created to offer a richer, fuller-bodied interpretation of the distillery’s Highland single malt, with the extended maturation and carefully selected sherry casks bringing together sweetness, fruit, oak and delicate spice.
