Cù Bòcan 15 Year Old 2022
Highland Single Malt, Oloroso Sherry Cask, Limited to 3,000 Bottles
Introducing the first-ever age-stated whisky in the Cù Bòcan collection, distilled in winter from lightly peated barley, matured fully for 15 years in Oloroso Sherry casks, and bottled at a robust 50% ABV with natural colour and no chill-filtration
This dram opens with aromas of dried fruit, flamed orange peel, cinder toffee, black cherry, and cardamom, followed by a subtle earthy smoke that frames every note elegantly. On the palate, expect rich black cherries, marmalade, leather, roasted walnuts, and a restrained peat hint that rounds off the sweetness.
A long, satisfying finish unveils layers of dark chocolate, toasted nuts, and faint spice, this is a whisky with both depth and character. With just 3,000 bottles available, it’s a Highland gem for collectors and those who appreciate theatrical flavour without sacrificing balance.
