These new additions to Casa Turrent's 1880 range are available in 4 blends/wrapper types: Claro, Colorado, Oscuro and Maduro.
The 1880 range predominantly use Mexican grown tobaccos in their blends, with some Nicaraguan tobaccos added to the filler blend for the Maduro, and some Dominican tobaccos used in the Claro.
The Colorado and Oscuro are Mexican Puros (composed of only tobaccos grown in Mexico) and showcase the variety of flavours available from Mexican grown tobacco.
The Casa Turrent 1880 Colorado Double Robusto is a Mexican puro that uses a Negro San Andres Colorado wrapper ('Colorado' is the shade of the wrapper, which also lends the cigar its name...) with a tasty Criollo San Andreas Binder and Mexican grown fillers.

A smooth Tan coloured wrapper, with a slight oily sheen – Intensely tasty, with a subtle underlying damp earthy note throughout, perfectly accented with vanilla, honey, baking spices, dried dates, plain chocolate and pencil shavings. Pronounced flavours of dried apricot, rum-and-raisin fudge and peppery leather dance throughout the smoke, with a herby charred oak note appearing to the finish.
