Campbeltown Loch Whisky. A celebration of Campbeltown whisky featuring malt from the region's three distilleries – Springbank, Kilkerran (Glen Gyle) and Glen Scotia.
Campbeltown, a small town on the Mull of Kintyre, was once Scotland’s largest whisky region with more than 30 distilleries operating in the surrounding area. Today only 3 distilleries remain; Sprinbank – who also produce the heavily peated Longrow and triple distilled Hazelburn, Glengyle (bottled and known as Kilkerran) - the sister distillery to Springbank, and Glen Scotia.
Campbell Loch features all 5 of these malts matured in both bourbon and sherry casks, producing a richly flavoured, maritime whisky with notes of creamy coffee, salted caramel and subtle smoke.
This blended malt is unmistakably Campbeltown, with initial butterscotch and caramel sweetness subsiding to reveal darker characters of smoked paprika, creamy coffee and a touch of maritime peat smoke.
