In 2007, Alec Bradley achieved its major breakthrough with the introduction of a new full-bodied line called "Tempus". Tempus, Spanish for'time' was well received and gained the accolade of a 94/100 Rating from the Cigar Aficionado publication.

The blend allows for the rich and hearty flavours of Honduran tobaccos from the wrapper and binder to come through, whilst the blend of Nicaraguan and Honduran long- fillers adds a slightly full flavour profile.
