Vegueros Centrofinos Tin of 16. The ‘Centrofinos’ is a classification for the leaves of the sun-grown tobacco plant harvested from around mid-way up the plant. This cigar is a unique size within the Habanos portfolio and the largest of the Vegueros range.
A new vitola for the Vegueros portfolio ‘Centrofinos’ 5⅛” (130mm) x 50.
Introduced to the market in 1996 as a full-bodied brand, Vegueros pays tribute to the generations of men and women who have cultivated tobacco in the renowned plantations of Pinar del Río.
The brand was relaunched in 2013 with a slightly lighter medium-bodied blend in new sizes and presented in unique tins of 16 cigars. Since then packs of 4 cigars have also been introduced.
Vegueros, which translates to "Farmers" in English, proudly retains its rustic charm. Drawing inspiration from the vocabulary of Cuban farmers, the names of the new vitolas reflect this heritage, with "Centrofinos" being no exception. "Centro Fino" refers to a classification of sun-grown tobacco leaves harvested midway up the plant. Typically, these leaves, known as Seco leaves, contribute to the blend of a Havana cigar, valued for their satisfying taste and aroma.
