A Speyside Stunner from the Shadows
Glenburgie might not be the loudest name in the whisky world, but that’s exactly what makes this single cask gem from Alistair Walker’s Infrequent Flyers series so exciting. Distilled in 2011 and aged for 12 years, this is Speyside elegance without the marketing gloss, just pure, honest whisky brilliance.
Bottled at natural cask strength, non-chillfiltered and without colouring, this release is all about integrity and individuality. A beautiful balance of orchard fruit, light vanilla, sweet malt and a touch of oak spice makes this an easy sipper with surprising depth.
Nose: Apple pie, honeyed malt, toasted cereal and light citrus.
Palate: Layers of golden fruit, vanilla cream, soft oak and a hint of almond.
Finish: Long and mellow with sweet spice and orchard fruit warmth.
