A rare Islay firecracker finished in ex-Mezcal casks.
Released for Feis Ìle 2021, this Lagavulin 13 Year Old Feis Ile 2021 is a bold departure from the distillery's typical sherry or bourbon finishes, this one’s been matured in refill American oak and finished in ex-Mezcal casks, and the result is mind-blowing.
Expect all the intense peat smoke you love from Lagavulin, but wrapped in earthy agave notes, sharp citrus, sea spray and charred sweetness. At 56.1% ABV, it’s powerful, layered, and unlike anything else from Islay, or Mexico, for that matter.
This bottling is a true festival edition: limited in number, unforgettable in flavour, and destined to become a collector’s cult favourite.
