Uncover the Soft-Spoken Side of Speyside
Part of Alistair Walker’s Infrequent Flyers series, this 2009 Glenlossie is a 14-year-old Speyside sleeper that’s quietly brilliant. Known for producing spirit with an elegant, grassy character, Glenlossie is rarely seen as a single malt, which makes this release even more exciting.
Matured in a single cask and bottled at natural cask strength, this whisky showcases the distillery's finesse with zero filtration and nothing added. It’s a beautifully balanced dram with notes of orchard fruit, vanilla fudge, gentle spice, and citrus zest, all delivered with silky texture and precision.
Nose: Pear drops, lemon peel, honeycomb and sweet cereal grain.
Palate: Vanilla pods, green apple, barley sugar and a delicate oak spice.
Finish: Clean and refreshing, with lingering white pepper and a soft fruity fade.
