Oak Masters’ Series (700ml, 53.4% ABV)
Glengoyne Mizunara is the second release in Glengoyne’s prestigious Oak Masters’ Series, this Mizunara Oak expression takes the distillery’s signature unpeated Highland style to a whole new level. Matured for 10 years in classic first-fill sherry and refill casks, then finished for a bold six years in ultra-rare Mizunara oak casks from Japan, this is a masterclass in wood management, patience and balance.
Why does Mizunara work so well with Glengoyne? Because Glengoyne is all about finesse. Its naturally fruity, smooth, and balanced style is the perfect canvas for the spicy, creamy and complex contributions of Japanese Mizunara. This whisky isn’t just finished, it’s transformed.
Expect a silky mouthfeel, elegant layers of hazelnut, coconut, spiced apple and lime, and a long, nutty finish that keeps you coming back for more. Bottled at a robust 53.4% ABV, it’s powerful yet graceful, a dram for the connoisseur and collector alike.
