Established in 1932, Nals Margreid has been dedicated to crafting varietal and terroir-driven wines from South Tyrol, nestled amidst the breathtaking landscapes where Italy’s northernmost wine region meets the majestic Alps and the Dolomites. Spanning 170 hectares, with a majority devoted to white varieties, including the esteemed Pinot Bianco grapes sourced from the warm town of Penon.
These grapes, ripened late in the high altitudes, yield small yet concentrated fruit, imbuing the Penon with its distinct character. Experience the essence of this unique terroir in every sip, with the Penon showcasing a fresh structure and elegant acidity, harmonising with concentrated aromas of apple, citrus, and ripe pineapple.
