Italian pipe company started in 1934 by Otello Lorenzetti.

Otello Lorenzetti's journey into pipe making began with a passion for art and a curiosity about transforming a simple piece of wood into a beautiful work of art. In 1934, armed with a few rented tools and his hands, Otello set out to satisfy this curiosity and started producing briar pipes.

Initially, Otello was able to craft around 20 pipes a day. Every morning, accompanied by his bicycle, he would sell his creations to local tobacconists. The beauty and craftsmanship of his pipes quickly garnered success, leading Otello to work more than 12 hours a day to keep up with the growing demand.

By the late sixties, Lorenzetti's company began to expand, becoming part of Marinella. With the involvement of his children—Luciano, Gabriella, and Alessandro—and a few dedicated employees, the production process improved and the company thrived.

Today, Lorenzetti pipes are renowned worldwide, celebrated for their exquisite craftsmanship and artistry. They hold a prestigious place among the most famous pipe collections, continuing to be appreciated by enthusiasts and collectors around the globe.
