A Highland Single Malt with Depth and Distinction
This 12-year-old single cask release from Ben Nevis joins Alistair Walker’s Infrequent Flyers series, a curated collection celebrating unique and rarely seen single malts.
Ben Nevis is famed for its bold, characterful spirit, and this expression fully lives up to the reputation. Distilled in 2011 and matured in a carefully selected cask, it showcases the robust Highland style with layered fruit, earthy depth, and a touch of old-school charm.
Non-chill filtered and bottled at cask strength, this whisky is presented as nature intended, pure, honest, and brimming with individuality.
Nose: Stewed apples, leathery spice, treacle toffee and a hint of struck match.
Palate: Dense fruitcake, blackcurrants, dark chocolate and toasted oak.
