Height of Arrows is gin inspired by how Holyrood Distillery makes whisky. Whisky’s vast array of flavours rely on distillers’ expertise in using just three ingredients, water, malted barley and yeast.
In creating Height of Arrows they sought to create gins that followed the same principle of utilising a few ingredients to achieve an abundance of flavours. They have focused production on gin’s essential botanical, juniper, with each iteration using Juniper in a different way.
Height of Arrows showcases Juniper’s complex flavours, while additions of Isle of Skye sea salt and natural beeswax, marry with juniper to impart a further depth of flavour and beautiful texture.
Height of Arrows represents a new gin drinking experience and a new direction in modern gin making.

NOSE
A balanced presentation of clean fresh pine & resin coupled with light citrus zest.
PALATE
Initially oily and mouth coating with juicy and rich orange zest and lemon pith then a bold emergence of black pepper and cardamom, tempered with tapered herbaceous smoothness.
FINISH
Long, smooth and dry finish with effervescent spicy notes.
Balanced blend of fresh pine and cirturs zest. The oily palate evolves into juicy orange,lemon and then black pepper. Smooth,dry finish.
