Introducing the GlenAllachie 11 Year Old Premier Cru Classé Wine Cask Finish, a testament to our commitment to craftsmanship and innovation. In the creation of the GlenAllachie Wine Series, we began by expertly maturing our spirit in American oak ex-bourbon barrels. Following this, the whisky underwent an additional maturation of over two years in wine barriques, carefully selected by our Master Distiller Billy Walker. This meticulous process imparts a distinctive twist to the unpeated GlenAllachie spirit.

These specific French oak barriques were sourced from one of just five Premier Cru Classé chateaux nestled in the renowned wine region of Bordeaux, France. As the pinnacle of the official Bordeaux wine classification, these estates are revered for producing wines of the highest quality and flavour. The maturation in casks previously cradling such full-bodied red wine has infused our honeyed spirit with deep notes of black cherry and smooth espresso. The result is a golden malt that offers a truly refined yet complex drinking experience.
