Established in 1825, Edradour is renowned for its small-scale production methods. Utilising just two stills and a dedicated team of two men to produce only eighteen casks per week. The 12 Year Old is an exclusive bottling, matured entirely in first and second fill Oloroso Sherry butts. Resulting in a whisky that embodies the distillery's rich heritage.
With a limited release of just 4,517 bottles and bottled on 8th March 2024. The unique character of Edradour 12 Year Old Sherry Cask reflects its lush, rolling hills and forest surroundings, making it a highly sought-after addition to any whisky collection.
The nose offers hints of dried fruits and crème caramel. On the palate, it reveals rich dried fruits and berries, orange peel, toffee, and liquid Christmas cake. With an incredible texture from Scotland's smallest traditional stills. The finish is soft and warming, with notes of spices and figs, reminiscent of the glowing embers of a log fire.
