A limited release of 500 boxes of 10 cigars, Joya de Nicaragua proudly announces the release of Cuatro Cinco – Edicion Europa, a charming 7 x 52 box pressed Double Corona. It uses a Nicaraguan criollo wrapper from Jalapa over a Dominican volado binder and Nicaraguan fillers, including five-year-old ligero that is aged in spent rum barrels. The Cuatro Cinco line was introduced in 2013 as a limited edition to celebrate Joya de Nicaragua’s 45th anniversary, since then the company has modified the blend—it used to be a Nicaraguan puro—and continued to make the cigar under the Cuatro Cinco Reserva Especial banner.
The Cuatro Cinco Edicion Europa features a Nicaraguan Criollo wrapper and selected Grade A filler tobaccos from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. The finished cigars are aged for at least one year in white oak vintage barrels which were previously used inside a world renowned rum distillery...
