The Azienda Uggiano Chianti Roccialta 2022 is an Italian wine that captures the essence of Tuscany’s famed Chianti DOCG region. Crafted predominantly from Sangiovese grapes (90%) with a touch of Canaiolo (10%), this red wine embodies the classic Chianti character.

On the nose, it exudes fresh aromas of ripe bramble and cherry, with subtle hints of spice. The palate reveals juicy sour cherry notes, abundant red fruit. With a refreshing acidity balanced by gentle tannins, ending in a slight peppery finish for a touch of complexity.

Under the expertise of winemaker Daniele Prosperi, this Chianti undergoes temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel. Its then followed by a short aging period that blends stainless steel and oak, preserving its bright fruit profile with a subtle oak influence. At 13% ABV, this Chianti Roccialta is a versatile red, ideal for pairing with roasted meats, grilled dishes, and rich pasta sauces, like a traditional rabbit ragu.
